چکیده
In the past decades, researchers and scientists have paid increasing attention to discover novel antibiotics anticancer agents in combating infection cancer diseases. It is believed that endophytic actinomycetes from medicinal plants provide a resourful niches for new compounds with significant bioactive properties. present study, we first time assessed antibacterial cytotoxic activities of associated Litsea cubeba (Lour.) Pers. A total 25 were isolated Pers collected at Lai Chau province, Vietnam, maximum number isolates obtained roots (44.4%), followed by stems (35.5%), leaves (20.1%). Among them, 3 LCL08, LCL25, LCL28 showed broad spectrum activity against six pathogenic bacteria, which subsequently identified as Streptomyces albogriseolus S. olivaceus cavourensis using 16S rRNA sequence analysis. This report alborgriseolus endophyte. Ethyl acetate extracts strains exhibited strong 6 tested pathogens minimum inhibitory concentration value ranging 2-64 μg/ml. Moreover, these remarkable effects Hep3B human hepatoma, MCF-7 breast cancer, A549 lung cell lines recorded viability cells 13.87 65.69%. These findings suggest spp. recovered are an excellent source natural could be promising further research.

متن کاملCharacterization and evaluation of antimicrobial and cytotoxic effects of Streptomyces sp. HUST012 isolated from medicinal plant Dracaena cochinchinensis Lour.
A highly potent secondary metabolite producing endophytic strain, Streptomyces sp. HUST012 was isolated from the stems of the medicinal plant Dracaena cochinchinensis Lour. Strain HUST012 showed antimicrobial and antitumor activities which were significantly much higher than those of dragon's blood extracted from D. cochinchinensis Lour. On further analysis, the strain was found to produce two ...
متن کاملAntibacterial Activity of Endophytic Actinomycetes Isolated from the Medicinal Plant Vochysia divergens (Pantanal, Brazil)
Endophytic actinomycetes from medicinal plants produce a wide diversity of secondary metabolites (SM). However, to date, the knowledge about endophytes from Brazil remains scarce. Thus, we analyzed the antimicrobial potential of 10 actinomycetes isolated from the medicinal plant Vochysia divergens located in the Pantanal sul-mato-grossense, an unexplored wetland in Brazil. Strains were classifi...
متن کاملChemical constituents from the roots and stems of Litsea cubeba.
A new monoterpene and a new lignan, named litsecols A and B (1 and 2), respectively, together with nine known compounds (3-11), were isolated in a continuous investigation on the roots and stems of Litsea cubeba. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic data analysis, and the absolute configuration of 1 was resolved by X-ray diffraction analysis. Compounds 2-5 an...
